Through, Inc. was founded in November of 2008 in response to observed needs in Blair County, Pennsylvania. The founding members of the Board of Directors for Through had a vision for a nonprofit that empowered individuals to emerge victorious from the challenges of life by providing them with a network of people who were well-connected, compassionate and committed to their future success. Their vision was focused on providing individuals with a place to turn for guidance regardless of their needs and situations and to provide those individuals with the information, friendship and support that would allow them to emerge from their situation as those able and willing to serve others who are encountering similar situations. Through acknowledges that every individual has needs that surface over the course of life, and every person has something to offer to others as a result of their life experiences and unique talents. It is our passion to connect people together and assist them in determining what stands between them and their preferred future as well as what they have to offer to others who are asking the same questions.
